Since 1998, Visite has been organizing the exchange of apprentices from different language regions and cultures within Switzerland and abroad. The program is open for all apprentices whose vocational training is covered unter the "Vocational Training Act" (Berufsbildungsgesetz).
Visite looks for a suitable work placement for several (at least three) weeks as wells as for an open-minded host family, willing to accomodate the young apprentice coming from Switzerland or abroad.
The program to promote mobility in vocational training is largely supported by Rotary Switzerland/Liechtenstein. In July 2023, Rotary Zurich Cercle International decided to join and support Visite with its network.
